Job Overview
We are looking for a Post Graduate Trained PGT Computer Science Teacher for a full-time role. Minimum two years of teaching experience is required. The teacher will handle classes IX to XII and prepare students for board exams as well as competitive coding tests. Salary ranges from Rs.35,000 to Rs.55,000 per month based on experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
Design and deliver weekly Computer Science lessons aligned to the latest CBSE curriculum. Conduct lab sessions on Python, Java, and web development tools twice a week. Organize inter-house coding competitions and hackathons every month. Assess practical files, project work, and theory papers promptly. Mentor students for Olympiads like ZIO and INOI. Update the department’s digital resource library regularly. Attend monthly staff meetings and contribute to curriculum reviews. Communicate progress to parents through the school ERP portal.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Two years of teaching experience at secondary or senior secondary level. Knowledge of CBSE syllabus and assessment patterns is necessary. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and smart classrooms is an advantage.
