What You Will Do
Plan weekly literature and language lessons aligned with CBSE patterns.
Create worksheets, quizzes and project briefs that make Shakespeare and Ruskin Bond engaging.
Hold remedial sessions in the after-school slot for students who need extra help.
Organise monthly English Club activities like debates, book reviews and poetry recitals.
Grade papers within 48 hours and give written feedback on writing tasks.
Collaborate with the Hindi and Sanskrit departments on annual day scripts and translations.
Attend department meetings every Friday to review syllabus progress and share ideas.
Participate in parent-teacher evenings to explain assessment trends and student growth.
Required Qualifications
Post graduate degree in English with minimum 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of teaching English at secondary or senior secondary level.
CTET or TET certificate is an advantage but not mandatory.
