PGT History Teacher Position at Myosys International School, Meerut
Myosys International School in Meerut seeks a dedicated PGT History Teacher to lead engaging history lessons and foster critical thinking among students. This full-time role requires a passion for teaching Indian history, culture, and historical events while aligning with modern educational standards.
Teach History across grades 9 to 12, designing syllabus-based lessons that blend theory with practical applications. Develop interactive teaching methods, including debates, case studies, and multimedia presentations to enhance student engagement. Prepare and evaluate unit tests, assignments, and projects to assess understanding and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure historical content aligns with the school’s academic goals and national education frameworks. Maintain updated lesson plans, resources, and teaching aids to support diverse learning needs. Act as a mentor to junior teachers, sharing best practices and improving instructional techniques.
Hold a postgraduate degree in History or a related subject with at least three years of teaching experience in schools. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, along with a valid TET/CTET certificate preferred. The salary for this role is Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, with the position based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
