This is a full-time position focused on enriching students’ creative and cultural growth through structured music education. 1. Develop and implement engaging music curriculum aligned with school syllabi and national standards.
2. Conduct daily music classes, including theory, practical sessions, and performance training for students.
3. Design and deliver extracurricular activities like school concerts, cultural fests, and music workshops.
4. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, reports, and feedback sessions.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and events.
6. Maintain a well-organized music room, including instruments and resources, ensuring proper upkeep.
7. Guide students in choir, band, or instrumental ensembles, fostering teamwork and artistic development.
8. Participate in school events, competitions, and inter-school music programs to showcase student talent.
For this PGT Music Teacher position at Wisdom Global School, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Music or a related field. A Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
