Role
Rhombus World School is looking for a PGT Political Science Teacher in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to join its senior faculty. The position is a full‑time role handling classes for classes XI and XII, preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Political Science lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum, incorporating current affairs and regional case studies. Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress. Organise co‑curricular activities such as debates, model parliaments and field trips to local government offices in Meerut. Mentor students for state‑level quizzes and support them in developing analytical writing skills.
Requirements
Minimum three years of teaching experience in a recognized school. Post‑graduate qualification in Political Science or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed as mandatory. TET/CTET certification is preferred. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, and familiarity with the educational environment of Uttar Pradesh. Ability to use digital tools for lesson planning and student interaction.
Compensation
