PRT Dance Teacher Job in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment

About This Role
The Kuber Public School Meerut invites applications for a PRT Dance Teacher Vacancy in Meerut. The role requires planning and delivering dance sessions for primary students. You will choreograph age-appropriate routines and ensure a safe, engaging environment. Experience with school-level dance programs is essential. Familiarity with local cultural dance forms will be an advantage.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan weekly dance lessons aligned with The Kuber Public School Meerut curriculum.
2. Teach classical, folk, and contemporary dance styles to students aged 6 to 12.
3. Organize small group and solo performances for school events and assemblies.
4. Maintain discipline and safety during dance practice sessions.
5. Prepare students for annual cultural day and inter-school competitions.
6. Collaborate with music and art teachers to integrate dance across subjects.
7. Keep attendance and progress records for each student.
8. Guide students in costume selection and stage presentation.
9. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching dance in primary schools
Fluency in Hindi and English
Ability to work flexible hours including rehearsals
Good to Have
CTET or TET certification
Experience in choreographing group performances
Knowledge of Bharatnatyam, Kathak, or local folk styles
Training in music or yoga for body coordination
Participation in national-level dance workshops
Preferred Skills
Creative choreography for school performances
Classroom management with young learners
Basic costume design and prop handling
First aid and injury prevention awareness
Strong communication with parents and staff
Salary and Benefits
Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications
Fixed monthly salary with timely disbursement
Access to school transport for official events
Health check-up facility for staff
Annual cultural event participation bonus
