About This Role
International Public School is looking for a PRT Evs Teacher to shape young minds in Meerut’s growing student community. The role is focused on building curiosity about the environment among students in grades 1 to 5. You will join a team that values hands-on learning and local engagement.
Your Students
The students at International Public School come from diverse backgrounds across Meerut. Many are first-generation learners who respond well to simple experiments and community projects. Your Evs lessons will help them connect classroom concepts to their daily lives around Meerut.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Evs lessons for classes 1 to 5 using activity-based methods. Conduct simple experiments and field visits within school premises or nearby parks in Meerut. Organize monthly cleanliness drives and tree-planting activities with students.
Prepare teaching aids using low-cost materials available locally in Meerut. Keep records of student progress in Evs portfolios with anecdotal notes. Collaborate with PRT team to integrate Evs themes into school assemblies and morning circles.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary classes. Prior experience in Evs or science teaching is preferred.
Skills We Value
Ability to explain environmental concepts in simple Hindi and English. Skill in organizing small group projects and outdoor activities. Patience to work with students who have varied learning speeds.
What You Get
Rs.13,000 to Rs.22,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Monthly in-hand salary credited on time. Annual increments as per school policy.
