Role Summary
International Public School in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh is seeking a qualified PRT Music Teacher to join our team. As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from classes Nursery to 10th. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for music, and the ability to create engaging lessons.
What You Will Do
1. Plan, prepare and deliver music lessons to students from classes Nursery to 10th
2. Create engaging and interactive music lessons to cater to diverse learning styles
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and students
4. Develop and implement music curriculum for classes Nursery to 10th
5. Maintain a well-organized and student-friendly music room
6. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement school events
7. Attend staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
8. Develop and implement music-based projects to promote student engagement
9. Monitor and maintain music equipment and resources
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Graduate degree in Music or equivalent
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed in Music or equivalent
- CTET/TET qualifications (not mandatory but preferred)
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
Good to Have:
- Master's degree in Music or equivalent
- Experience in teaching music in a school setting
- Knowledge of Indian classical music and music theory
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging music lessons
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of music technology and software
- Ability to adapt to new ideas and technologies
