About This Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at International Public School. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Social Science lessons to students from Class VI to Class X. You will be expected to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Social Science curriculum and teaching methodologies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students from Class VI to Class X
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school events
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Social Science curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the school administration
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A valid TET or CTET certificate is preferred. You should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. You should be passionate about teaching Social Science and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education to students.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.13,000 - Rs.22,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, the school offers a range of benefits, including paid leave, medical insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
