PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Oxford International School, Meerut
Oxford International School in Meerut seeks a dedicated PRT (Pupil Teacher) to teach Social Science to students in the secondary section. This role requires someone passionate about shaping young minds with engaging lessons on history, geography, political science, and economics. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for curriculum development and a commitment to fostering critical thinking in students.
The PRT will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s syllabus. Daily classroom responsibilities include teaching core Social Science topics, conducting interactive sessions, and assessing student progress through assessments and projects. Collaboration with the subject coordinator will be essential for lesson planning, resource sharing, and ensuring academic consistency across the section.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in teaching Social Science to students in the age group of 12-16 years is highly valued, with at least three years of relevant experience required.
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international educational environment in Meerut. The position is full-time and based in the school’s campus.
