As a Biology teacher, you will be working with students from grades 9-12, guiding them to develop a deep understanding of the subject and its applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Biology lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress
- Engage with parents through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's academic vision
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
- Conduct science experiments and demonstrations to promote hands-on learning
- Develop and maintain a well-equipped Biology lab to support student learning
- Provide individual support to students with special needs
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate degree in Biology (M.Sc or M.A.). TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Biology is required.
