Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons, ensuring concepts like programming, algorithms, and digital literacy are understood clearly. Conduct small group activities and coding workshops to boost student participation. Maintain a structured classroom environment, fostering a culture of curiosity and problem-solving. Prepare daily lesson plans based on student progress and curriculum requirements.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assist in organizing school-wide tech competitions, robotics clubs, and coding marathons to encourage extracurricular interest. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Computer Science into interdisciplinary projects. Monitor student performance in exams and assessments, providing timely feedback and additional support where needed. Participate in school events like career guidance sessions and parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the IT department to update classroom technology, ensuring labs and devices are functional for teaching. Attend workshops or training sessions on emerging trends in Computer Science education to stay updated. Review and update teaching materials, textbooks, and online resources to align with evolving syllabi.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a relevant subject, is essential. Experience with CBSE or state board curricula is a plus. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
