TGT History Teacher Position at Myosys International School in Meerut
Myosys International School in Meerut seeks an experienced TGT History Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. The role involves shaping young minds with a deep understanding of historical events, cultures, and their global significance. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering critical thinking through history lessons.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging history lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate learning outcomes. Develop lesson plans that incorporate modern teaching methods, including interactive discussions and multimedia presentations. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
Engage with parents and school management to ensure a collaborative approach to student development. Participate in extracurricular activities that promote historical awareness, such as debates, model rallies, or cultural events. Maintain a well-organized classroom environment, ensuring all teaching materials and resources are readily available.
Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that connect history with other subjects like social science or geography. Stay updated on educational trends and teaching techniques to enhance classroom effectiveness. Represent the school at teacher training workshops or educational conferences if required.
Qualification Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in History or a related discipline, followed by a post-graduate degree in History or Education. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, which is mandatory for teaching positions in schools. A valid TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience and Skills
Three years of teaching experience at the TGT level, preferably in a school environment. Strong communication skills to explain complex historical concepts clearly to students. Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
The salary for this position is Rs.18,000 to Rs.42,000 per month, with benefits commensurate with the role.
