TGT Mathematics Teacher Job in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
City Vocational Public School Meerut invites qualified candidates for a TGT Mathematics Teacher Vacancy in Meerut. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging classroom lessons covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, ensuring clarity and relevance to students’ learning needs. Prepare daily lesson plans incorporating interactive methods like group discussions, problem-solving activities, and real-world applications of mathematical concepts. Monitor student progress during lessons to address any difficulties promptly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain a structured classroom environment that fosters a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assess students’ understanding through regular homework, quizzes, and unit tests to track progress and reinforce concepts. Collaborate with the mathematics department to develop and implement standardized assessment frameworks and grading policies. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and student performance trends. Ensure all teaching materials, including worksheets, textbooks, and digital resources, are updated and accessible for students.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly review meetings with the principal and senior management to discuss academic performance, curriculum improvements, and student feedback. Organize periodic mathematics workshops or guest lectures for students to deepen their understanding of advanced topics. Prepare and submit termly progress reports detailing student achievements, areas needing improvement, and recommendations for further support.
Qualification and Experience
Applicants must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics or a related field. At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in a school environment. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. A strong command of the English language and familiarity with school-level mathematics curricula are essential.
