Key Responsibilities
Teaching physical education across various grades, ensuring age-appropriate activities and skill development. This includes sports like cricket, football, basketball, and athletics, along with health-related exercises and team-building drills.
Developing and assessing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while adapting activities for students of diverse abilities. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate physical education into broader academic goals.
Overseeing school sports events, tournaments, and inter-school competitions, ensuring safety, fair play, and student participation. Maintaining equipment, facilities, and records related to physical education programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of relevant teaching experience in physical education or related fields is essential, particularly in a school setting.
Experience in designing and implementing sports programs for students is highly valued. Familiarity with TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
