Role Summary
Bds International School invites experienced and passionate TGT Social Science Teachers to join our faculty in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the minds of our young students and helping them develop a strong understanding of social science concepts.
Who You Will Teach
You will be teaching students from classes VI to VIII at Bds International School, where you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and delivering high-quality instruction. Your primary focus will be on promoting social science literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among your students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for social science subjects that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding of social science concepts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate with their peers.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities, to make social science learning engaging and interactive.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote social science education and excellence.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in social science teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's social science education.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching social science at the secondary level is also required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
