The responsibilities include:
1. Teaching core Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a focus on experiential learning.
2. Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that integrate modern teaching methods and local educational resources.
3. Conducting regular classroom demonstrations and experiments to enhance student understanding of scientific concepts.
4. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation, including weekly tests, project work, and practical assessments.
5. Collaborating with the Science faculty and coordinating with parents through regular parent-teacher interactions.
6. Maintaining a clean, well-equipped Science lab and ensuring safety protocols are followed during practical sessions.
7. Participating in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to Science and environmental awareness.
8. Supporting the school’s mission by encouraging students to explore scientific inquiry and real-world applications of knowledge.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduation in Science with at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for nurturing young learners through Science education.
