Your responsibilities
Plan and deliver TGT Sanskrit lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines for grades 6 to 8. Create digital flashcards for vocabulary and use online platforms like Google Classroom for assignments. Organize monthly Sanskrit recitation competitions via Zoom for inter-house participation. Collaborate with IT faculty to maintain the language lab’s resources. Conduct parent-teacher meets online to share student progress. Participate in curriculum review sessions every quarter. Mentor students preparing for state-level Sanskrit Olympiads. Maintain a digital portfolio of student projects and assessments.
Qualifications and digital literacy requirements
Graduation in Sanskrit with minimum 50% marks is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Sanskrit is mandatory. Knowledge of basic computer operations and familiarity with MS Office and Google Suite is essential. Prior experience in teaching Sanskrit at secondary level preferred.
Skills for the modern classroom
Fluency in spoken and written Sanskrit with clear pronunciation. Ability to design multimedia content for lessons. Patience to guide students from diverse language backgrounds. Strong classroom management in tech-enabled spaces.
Salary and benefits
