Role Summary
Millennium World School seeks a skilled Dance Teacher to lead extracurricular dance programs that enrich student life. The role shapes cultural expression and promotes physical wellness through structured dance training. This position plays a key part in school events and inter-school competitions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct regular dance sessions for students across age groups.
Choreograph group and solo performances for school functions and festivals.
Maintain discipline and safety during dance rehearsals and performances.
Collaborate with music and art departments for thematic productions.
Document student progress and share feedback with parents twice a year.
Organize annual dance shows and coordinate with stage and sound teams.
Train interested students for inter-school dance competitions.
Manage costume and prop inventory for dance performances.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Post-graduate in Performing Arts with 3 years of dance training experience.
Proficiency in Indian classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms.
Good to Have
Experience in school-level dance programs.
Basic knowledge of music editing and lighting cues.
Skills We Value
Strong leadership to guide student dancers and junior staff.
Clear communication with students, parents, and management.
Organizational ability to plan events and manage resources efficiently.
