PGT Physics Teacher Position at Millennium World School in Moradabad
Millennium World School in Moradabad seeks an experienced PGT Physics Teacher to inspire and guide high school students with a passion for scientific inquiry. This role involves shaping young minds through engaging physics lessons, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for higher education. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, teaching expertise, and a commitment to creating a dynamic learning environment.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver physics lessons tailored to students’ understanding levels, ensuring clarity and relevance. Prepare engaging classroom activities, experiments, and demonstrations to make abstract concepts tangible. Monitor student progress daily to identify strengths and areas needing extra attention. Maintain organized classroom resources, including textbooks, lab equipment, and digital materials, ensuring they are accessible for lessons.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and review lesson plans aligned with the latest curriculum standards, incorporating modern teaching methods. Collaborate with the physics department to design interdisciplinary projects that connect physics with other subjects. Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with senior faculty to organize physics-related workshops or guest lectures for students. Prepare and submit term-end reports on student achievements, growth, and areas requiring improvement. Attend school events, including science fairs and competitions, to represent the subject and engage with parents and students.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in a high school or equivalent setting. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is a plus but not mandatory. Strong command over English and Hindi for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.30,000 to Rs.45,000, along with benefits as per school policy. The role is based in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, with the opportunity to contribute to a progressive educational institution.
