- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to individual students, particularly those requiring extra support in Biology.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective assessment strategies, including board exam coaching.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Participate in school-wide professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in Biology education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's annual academic plan, focusing on Biology curriculum and instruction.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to communicate student progress, address concerns, and promote a positive school culture.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc.) or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Biology at the senior secondary level.
- A B.Ed. degree or equivalent qualification in Education.
- A valid TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
