About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PGT Economics Teacher to join our faculty and contribute to the academic excellence of our students.
Teaching Approach
At Anglo Vedic Gurukul, we adopt a blended learning approach that combines traditional teaching methods with modern technology. Our Economics Teacher will use smart boards to create engaging visual aids, facilitate online discussions through Google Classroom, and assign tasks and quizzes through our LMS. The teacher will also utilize online resources to supplement the curriculum and provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Economics.
Day-to-Day Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering lessons on Economics to students of Class 9-12
- Using technology to create engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Managing student progress and providing feedback through online portals
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum reforms
- Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Participating in school events and activities to promote Economics
- Utilizing online resources to stay updated on Economics curriculum and pedagogy
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess:
- A postgraduate degree in Economics (M.A./M.Sc./M.Com)
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Experience in teaching Economics at the senior secondary level
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy and proficiency in using online tools like Google Classroom, LMS, and smart boards
- Familiarity with online resources and educational websites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing circumstances
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policy.
