Role Summary

What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging Dance classes for students from Grades 1 to 5 as part of the school PRT dance opening. Organize annual dance performances, inter-house competitions, and cultural events at Anglo Vedic Gurukul.
Train students in classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms suitable for primary-level learners. Choreograph simple group dances for morning assemblies and school functions.
Assess student progress through periodic demonstrations and provide feedback to parents during PTMs. Maintain attendance registers and ensure discipline during dance periods.
Collaborate with music and art teachers to integrate dance into broader school events. Prepare students for external competitions like CBSE Expression Series or local cultural fests.
Document lesson plans and maintain a record of student achievements in dance. Support school initiatives such as ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ through thematic dance presentations.
What You Can Apply
Post-graduates in Dance or Performing Arts with minimum three years of teaching experience in a school environment are eligible. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET is desirable but not required.
Candidates with experience in choreography, event management, or working with children in Muzzaffarnagar will be preferred. Familiarity with Indian dance traditions and school curriculum integration is an advantage.
