About This Role
Anglo Vedic Gurukul seeks a PRT English Teacher with three years of classroom experience to lead foundational English instruction for Grades 1 to 5. The role blends daily lesson delivery with board exam coaching, shaping young learners’ language confidence across Muzzaffarnagar.
What You Will Do
Plan and teach daily English lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines, using activity-based methods suitable for early grades. Prepare students for periodic assessments and half-yearly board exam mock tests in English Language and Literature. Lead curriculum development for Classes 1–5, designing age-appropriate reading, writing, grammar, and phonics modules. Organize monthly English festivals featuring elocution, storytelling, and recitation to build public speaking skills. Mentor 30–35 students per class, tracking individual progress through anecdotal records and portfolios. Collaborate with senior English faculty to align PRT content with middle-school expectations at Anglo Vedic Gurukul. Conduct parent-teacher meetings twice a term to share literacy progress and reading milestones. Contribute to school newsletters by writing short English articles highlighting student achievements in co-curricular English activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate in English with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university. Minimum three years of full-time English teaching experience in primary grades. CTET or UPTET qualified candidates will be given preference for PRT English Teacher Vacancy in Muzzaffarnagar.
