Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate PRT Social Science Teacher to join our team at Anglo Vedic Gurukul in Muzzaffarnagar. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive social science lessons for our students, guiding them to develop a deeper understanding of the subject and its relevance to their lives. You will work collaboratively with our team to design and implement curricula, assessments, and projects that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging social science lessons for students in grades 6-10
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and progress
- Create interactive and inclusive learning environments that promote critical thinking and creativity
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curricula, projects, and assessments
- Guide students in independent learning and research projects
- Provide feedback and support to students, colleagues, and parents as needed
- Stay updated with the latest developments in social science education and pedagogy
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events that promote social science learning and awareness
- Participate in staff development programs and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents through various channels
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should have a strong academic background in Social Science, a postgraduate degree (M.A., M.Sc., or equivalent), and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective social science lessons. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, but preferred.
