Role Summary
Delhi Public School Pilibhit, a renowned institution in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking an Art and Craft professional to join our team. As an Art and Craft staff member, you will be responsible for overseeing the art education program and managing the art department at Delhi Public School Pilibhit.
What You Will Do
1. Develop and implement Art and Craft curriculum for students, in line with the school's vision and requirements.
2. Manage and supervise the Art and Craft department, including staff, resources, and facilities.
3. Conduct workshops and training sessions for students and staff on art techniques and materials.
4. Collaborate with teachers to integrate Art and Craft with other subjects in the curriculum.
5. Plan and execute art exhibitions, competitions, and events to promote students' artistic talents.
6. Maintain a safe and organized art studio environment, adhering to safety protocols and school policies.
7. Monitor students' progress and provide feedback on their art work.
8. Liaise with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's Art and Craft progress.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this position.
- TET or CTET certification is desirable but not essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Art and Craft management or teaching is required.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian art history, techniques, and styles.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with art education software and technologies.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, the school offers a range of benefits, including medical insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
