About This Role
Delhi Public School Pilibhit seeks an experienced Dance Director to lead our school's dance program. As a key member of our administration team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing dance events, performances, and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate annual school dance festivals and events
- Develop and implement dance curriculum for students
- Recruit, train, and supervise dance instructors and staff
- Manage dance department budget and resources
- Foster partnerships with local dance schools and organizations
- Collaborate with school administration to integrate dance into overall curriculum
- Evaluate dance program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Represent school at local and national dance events
- Develop and maintain social media presence for dance department
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in dance administration or leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with dance competitions and festivals
- Knowledge of Indian classical and folk dances
- Familiarity with school administration and management
