Senior PRT with 8+ years of teaching and department leadership experience sought for Springdale College in Pilibhit.
Role Summary
The position is a senior-level PRT role in the Computer Science department at Springdale College. It carries departmental leadership responsibilities and is designed for an experienced educator who can mentor junior faculty and guide curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and update the Computer Science curriculum to meet UGC and university standards, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
Coordinate internal assessments, mid-semester exams, and end-term examinations for all Computer Science courses.
Mentor junior faculty members through regular feedback sessions and classroom observations.
Lead the preparation of NAAC and NBA documentation for the department.
Initiate and guide minor research projects among undergraduate students.
Organize guest lectures, workshops, and hackathons with tech companies in Pilibhit and nearby cities.
Serve as the nodal officer for student internship placements in the department.
Oversee the maintenance of lab infrastructure and software licensing across campus.
Represent the department in college academic committees and external accreditation bodies.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized university with at least 8 years of post-Ph.D. teaching experience.
Currently holding the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in any UGC-recognized institution.
Minimum 55% marks in Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
NET/SET qualified as per UGC norms.
Experience in handling administrative roles such as Head of Department or Program Coordinator is preferred.
Familiarity with UGC 7th Pay Commission scales and academic governance in Uttar Pradesh colleges.
Research & Publications
Guide final-year and postgraduate students in research projects under the college’s internal grant scheme.
Publish original research in UGC-CARE listed journals and present papers at national conferences.
Collaborate with regional engineering colleges and universities on joint research initiatives.
Encourage students to contribute to open-source projects and publish at undergraduate symposia.
Maintain a portfolio of funded projects and consultancy assignments in emerging tech domains.
Learning and Development
As the senior PRT, this role serves as the Head of Department with full administrative and academic oversight.
Opportunities exist to grow into Dean-level academic leadership roles within Springdale College.
Participate in curriculum design boards of neighboring institutions and state-level skill development programs.
Lead the integration of AI, cloud computing, and data science modules into existing syllabi.
Represent the college at state-level faculty development programs organized by AKTU or other regulatory bodies.

Salary offered is Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000 per month as per UGC 7th Pay Commission guidelines for the PRT cadre.
