About This Role
Springdale College is seeking a dedicated PRT faculty member to lead its Music department. The role involves teaching foundational music theory, vocal training, and instrumental skills to undergraduate students. The position requires a passion for nurturing young musicians and aligning with the college’s creative learning environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
Deliver structured lectures on music history, notation, and performance techniques twice weekly. Conduct one-on-one vocal and instrumental coaching sessions for students across semesters. Organize and supervise annual college cultural events and inter-college music competitions.
Evaluate student progress through quarterly assessments and practical exams. Assist in designing the annual curriculum for the Music PRT Job in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, ensuring alignment with UGC standards. Mentor students in selecting compositions and preparing for university-level examinations.
Serve as a judge or coordinator during inter-college festivals hosted at Springdale College. Maintain attendance records, progress reports, and feedback logs for each student. Collaborate with other departments to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Music with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SET/SLET qualified applicants will be preferred for Assistant Professor roles. Non-NET holders with a Ph.D. in Music are also eligible for the Music PRT Vacancy in Pilibhit.
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a college or school music department is required. Practical experience in Indian classical, Western, or folk music performance is highly desirable. The Music Faculty Recruitment in Uttar Pradesh offers a salary between Rs.14,000 and Rs.25,000 per month as per UGC scales.
