Role Summary

This role will be a part of our school administration and will work closely with the school leadership team to implement special education programs and services for students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
2. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to ensure that students with special needs receive the support and accommodations they require.
3. Provide training and support to school staff on special education strategies and techniques.
4. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and weaknesses.
5. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with challenging behaviors.
6. Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and to involve them in the special education process.
7. Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of students with special needs.
8. Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote inclusion and diversity.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- D.El.Ed or B.Ed degree is desirable.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with students with special needs.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
