About This Role
The Chemistry Department at Springdale College is seeking a dynamic and experienced TGT Chemistry professional to join our faculty. As a key member of the department, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to undergraduate students, mentoring research projects, and contributing to the development of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to undergraduate students, including preparing and delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and assessing student performance.
- Mentor research projects and supervise students in their research work, guiding them to produce high-quality research papers and presentations.
- Assist in the development of the curriculum, syllabus, and teaching materials for the Chemistry department.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, including staff meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Conduct tutorials, viva voce, and other academic assessments for students.
- Guide students in their academic and personal growth, providing individualized support and counseling when needed.
- Conduct research in the field of Chemistry, publish papers in reputed journals, and present papers in conferences.
- Develop and maintain a well-equipped laboratory and experimental setup for teaching and research purposes.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Chemistry or a related field. A NET/SET qualification is mandatory for non-Ph.D. candidates, while a Ph.D. is preferred for the post of Assistant Professor. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience as a TGT in a recognized institution.

Springdale College encourages research and academic projects in the field of Chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to research projects, publish papers in reputed journals, and present papers in conferences. The candidate is also expected to guide students in their research projects and supervise them in producing high-quality research papers and presentations.
Salary and Benefits
