TGT Social Science Teacher Job in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
Delhi Public School expects a teacher who spends the day preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, and guiding students through history, civics and geography. You will manage a classroom of 30‑35 students, grade assignments, and participate in school events and parent meetings. The work is hands‑on, with occasional field trips to local sites in Pilibhit to bring social studies to life. It is a full‑time commitment with a focus on student‑centred learning.
What you will actually do
- Deliver the Social Science curriculum for classes IX and X as per the UP Board guidelines.
- Design interactive worksheets, project work and debates on current affairs.
- Conduct regular assessments, maintain records and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Coordinate with the Head of Department for curriculum alignment and exam preparation.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as model UN, cultural trips and community service projects.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school functions.
- Mentor junior teachers and assist in creating interdisciplinary links with language and environmental studies.
- Ensure classroom discipline and a safe learning environment in line with school policies.
Who can do this job
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and possess a post‑graduate degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of five years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. TET/CTET certification is preferred. Applicants should have previously handled the Social Science Teacher Job in Pilibhit or similar roles.
