Assist in organizing school events like dance performances, festivals, or cultural fairs.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage participation in group activities.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary lessons, such as music or social studies.
Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel comfortable exploring their creativity.
Required Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as mandatory qualifications for teaching roles.
Possess a graduate degree in dance, physical education, or a related field.
Have at least one year of experience in dance teaching or related roles.
Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for TET/CTET if applicable, though this is not strictly required for this position.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication skills to clearly explain dance techniques and engage students effectively.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities.
Basic knowledge of various dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles.
Patience and enthusiasm to motivate students, especially those new to dance.
