Role Summary
We need a trained graduate teacher in Physical Education to handle classes for students in grades 6 to 10 at Aysha Public School. The role covers lesson planning, conducting drills, organizing inter-house and inter-school sports events, and maintaining discipline during games periods. You will work with the school sports coordinator to plan the annual sports calendar and ensure safety during all physical activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Physical Education classes five days a week with clear learning objectives for each session.
2. Conduct daily warm-up drills, skill drills, and fitness tests for students of different age groups.
3. Organize monthly inter-house competitions in cricket, football, volleyball, and athletics.
4. Prepare teams for district-level tournaments and accompany them with proper permission slips.
5. Maintain sports equipment registers and report any damage or shortages to the administration.
6. Ensure all activities follow safety guidelines and first-aid kits are available on the playground.
7. Submit monthly reports on student participation and performance to the principal.
Who Can Apply
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Physical Education and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification are eligible. Those with CTET or UPTET certification will be given preference. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a similar school environment is required. Familiarity with local sports culture in Pratapgarh is an advantage.
