About This Role
Shankar Lal Public School Prayagraj is seeking a qualified PGT Biology Teacher to join our faculty in Soraon, Prayagraj. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students of class XI and XII. Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Biology to students of class XI and XII.
2. Prepare and deliver lessons, lectures, and tutorials.
3. Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lessons.
4. Assess and evaluate student progress.
5. Maintain accurate records of student performance.
6. Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies.
8. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
9. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc./M.A.)
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. with specialization in Biology
- Teaching experience of at least 4 years
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
Good to Have:
- Experience of teaching in a school setting
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Strong organizational and time management skills
