Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students from classes 9-12.
- Create and maintain a conducive learning environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
- Utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS to create interactive lessons and assessments.
- Develop and implement a range of teaching and learning materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive English language curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Engage in staff development and professional growth activities to enhance teaching practices.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meetings.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate degree in English or a related subject. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of delivering excellent English language instruction.
