Role Summary
Khelgaon Public School in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh seeks a highly qualified and experienced PGT History Teacher to join our faculty. As a PGT History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students of Class XI and XII.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and teach History lessons to students
- Prepare and administer assignments, quizzes, and exams
- Grade and provide constructive feedback to students
- Maintain accurate student records and attendance
- Participate in departmental meetings and staff development activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and assessments
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in History or related field
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in History at a school
Good to Have:
- TET/CTET certification (not mandatory but preferred)
- Knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy in History
- Experience with project-based learning and technology integration
