Role Summary
As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students from Class 1 to Class 5. You will design and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students from Class 1 to Class 5
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Use a variety of teaching methods to make dance learning fun and interactive
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student progress
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians to share student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop a cohesive curriculum
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to dance
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in Dance or a related field
- B.A. or B.F.A. degree in Dance or a related field
- TET or CTET certification (preferable)
- Experience in teaching dance to students from Class 1 to Class 5
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques and methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
