Job Overview
Shankar Lal Public School Prayagraj is seeking an Experienced PRT Dance Teacher to join its faculty. As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Dance curriculum at the school, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the institution.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students from Class 1 to Class 12, ensuring that the curriculum is implemented effectively.
- Develop and implement creative Dance projects, encouraging students to explore their artistic expression.
- Coach students for Board exams, providing guidance on Dance-related topics and strategies to excel.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Dance with other subjects, promoting a holistic approach to learning.
- Attend meetings with parents and guardians to discuss Dance-related matters and provide updates on student progress.
- Develop and maintain Dance resources, including texts, videos, and equipment, to support teaching and learning.
- Participate in school events, such as Dance performances and competitions, as required.
- Contribute to the development of the school's Dance policy and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of leading Dance curriculum and mentoring junior staff. While TET or CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
