Role Summary
Shankar Lal Public School Prayagraj invites applications for the post of PRT Music Teacher for our school in Soraon, Prayagraj. The selected candidate will join our music department as an experienced teacher and take on a key leadership role in shaping the music curriculum for our students.
What You Will Do
- Plan, deliver, and assess music lessons to students from classes 1 to 10.
- Conduct music classes for students, including board exam preparation and performance-based assessments.
- Develop and implement music curricula aligned with the CBSE syllabus and board exam requirements.
- Conduct regular music workshops and concerts to promote music education and creativity among students.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music with other subjects, such as language and social studies.
- Conduct music competitions and festivals to encourage students' musical talents.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Participate in school events, music concerts, and other extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in music, preferably with a government or public school.
- Preference will be given to candidates with TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) or CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) certification.
