Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Prayagraj’s children need teachers who can connect history, geography, and civics to their daily lives. Many young learners here struggle to see how Social Science shapes their world beyond textbooks. A.n Public School wants a PRT who can make those connections real, turning lessons into stories that resonate with families across Pragraj.
The new teacher will be the bridge between classroom learning and community life. You’ll help students understand their city’s heritage, its changing streets, and the rights they carry as citizens. Beyond lessons, you’ll guide parents during school meetings to see how Social Science builds skills for life. Your presence will strengthen A.n Public School’s reputation as a place where learning meets local pride.
Each day starts with lesson plans that blend maps of Prayagraj with stories from the past. You’ll conduct group projects where students interview elders about old neighborhoods or trace the Ganga’s changing course. Regular parent-teacher interactions will include simple explanations of Social Science topics, helping families support learning at home. You’ll also organize field visits to nearby monuments or markets, turning streets into classrooms. The role includes assessing notebooks weekly and giving feedback that encourages curiosity. You’ll attend staff meetings to align Social Science teaching with school values.
Ideal candidates are graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, preferably those who have taught Social Science for at least two years. Familiarity with local culture and languages adds value. TET or CTET certification is a plus but not mandatory.
This role matters because it shapes how children see their city and their role in it. A.n Public School believes Social Science isn’t just theory—it’s the tool that helps students become informed, active citizens. Your work will leave a lasting impression on families in Pragraj.
Salary is Rs.14,000 to Rs.24,000 per month, with benefits including health support and school transport for field trips. Inquire at A.n Public School’s reception or send your CV to the email listed. Join a community where teaching Social Science means building a brighter future, one lesson at a time.
