Daily assignments and homework tasks will be distributed to reinforce learning, ensuring students grasp fundamental skills. Maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom is essential for student motivation.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve assessing student progress through quizzes, projects, and practical assignments. You will collaborate with the Computer Science faculty to update teaching methods based on curriculum updates. Organizing small group activities and coding competitions will keep students engaged beyond traditional lectures. Ensuring compliance with school policies on digital safety and cybersecurity awareness is also part of your ongoing duties.
Periodic responsibilities include participating in curriculum review meetings to suggest improvements in Computer Science education. You will attend school events like career guidance workshops and tech fairs to promote Computer Science as a relevant career path. Preparing and submitting term-end evaluations and reports for student performance will be part of your periodic tasks.
To qualify, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, along with a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field. Four years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, having it will be an advantage.
