Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons to students of various age groups
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide English programs
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the school
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school-wide events and activities to promote English language and literature
- Develop and implement English language learning materials and resources
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in English (B.A. English) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. A minimum of two years' experience in teaching English in a school setting is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
