Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, incorporating modern teaching techniques. Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate English with subjects like social studies or science. Attend staff meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and educational trends. Ensure students adhere to school rules while promoting respectful behavior in the classroom.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in termly assessments and evaluations to track student performance in English. Organize school events such as English fests, cultural programs, or inter-house competitions to celebrate student achievements. Review and update teaching materials, including textbooks and supplementary resources, to ensure relevance and quality.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in English or a related field. Possess a TET/CTET certificate as preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in schools with a focus on English language education. Strong command of English, both written and spoken, along with creativity in lesson planning.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, along with benefits like transport allowance if applicable.
