The role focuses on delivering engaging English lessons to primary and middle school students while supporting their overall academic growth. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary range of Rs.20,000 – Rs.38,000 per month.
Responsibilities
Academic Instruction
Plan, prepare and deliver comprehensive English lessons for classes 1 to 8, ensuring alignment with the state curriculum and school standards.
Use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, multimedia resources, and group discussions, to cater to diverse learning styles.
Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and class participation, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Student Development
Encourage students to develop strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for the English language.
Identify and support students with learning difficulties, offering additional guidance and resources as needed.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and order in the classroom, fostering a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
Implement classroom rules and routines consistently, ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support school-wide initiatives.
Co‑Curricular and Extra‑Curricular Activities
Participate in school events, such as debates, drama, and spelling competitions, to enhance students’ language proficiency.
Assist in organizing English‑based clubs or reading circles that encourage extracurricular learning.
Administrative Duties
Prepare and submit lesson plans, attendance records, and progress reports to the Head of Department.
Contribute to curriculum development discussions and provide input on instructional materials.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in English or related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the TGT level.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Compensation and Location
Salary range: Rs.20,000 – Rs.38,000 per month.
