About This Role
St. Xavier International School is looking for a qualified PGT Business Studies Teacher for its Lalganj campus in Raebareli. This full-time position requires a postgraduate degree in Business Studies and at least three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. The role focuses on delivering the CBSE Business Studies curriculum to classes XI and XII with clarity and depth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessment tools for classes XI and XII.
Organize classroom activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving in commerce subjects.
Conduct regular unit tests and term-end examinations with timely feedback.
Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records as per school norms.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum review sessions.
Guide students in project work, case studies, and viva voce preparations.
Assist in organizing school-level commerce fairs or inter-house competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Business Studies or Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Three years of teaching experience in Business Studies at senior secondary level.
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualified.
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
Preferred Skills
Strong command over financial accounting and business management concepts.
Ability to simplify complex theories for students from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in using Excel, PowerPoint, and online quiz platforms for teaching.
Willingness to mentor students for competitive exams like CUET and Olympiads.
