Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified and experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join our faculty at St. Xavier International School in Lalganj, Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. As a PGT Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to students of classes 6 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography to students of classes 6 to 12
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging lectures
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement Geography curriculum
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents
- Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not essential)
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
Good to Have
- Experience of teaching Geography to students of classes 6 to 12
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
- Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
