Job Overview
As a PGT History Teacher, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to our students, shaping their understanding of the subject, and providing them with a strong foundation for their future academic pursuits. You will be an integral part of our History Department, contributing to the development of engaging lesson plans, and participating in various educational activities, including co-curricular and extracurricular events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to students of classes 11 and 12, following the prescribed syllabus and curriculum
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and make necessary adjustments to teaching strategies
- Participate in school events, workshops, and seminars to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on the latest pedagogical practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive curriculum and ensure alignment with school policies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Required Qualifications
We welcome fresh B.Ed graduates who are passionate about teaching History to apply for this position. Candidates who are appearing for TET/CTET are also encouraged to apply. A postgraduate degree in History or a related field is required. The ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents is essential.
