Role Summary
As a PGT Physical Education Teacher at St. Xavier International School, you will be the driving force behind shaping the young minds of Raebareli's next generation. You will be responsible for nurturing a love for physical education among your students, instilling in them the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and helping them develop into well-rounded individuals.
Your Students
You will be working with students from Lalganj, Raebareli, and the surrounding areas, who are eager to learn and grow. Your students will be looking up to you for guidance, support, and motivation, and it is your responsibility to provide them with a nurturing environment that fosters their physical and emotional development.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students of classes VI to XII
- Develop and implement Physical Education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Conduct sports events and tournaments, and provide coaching to students in various sports
- Maintain a safe and healthy Physical Education environment for students
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to improve their performance
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Physical Education with other subjects
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for Physical Education
- Maintain accurate records of students' participation and progress in Physical Education
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Physical Education or equivalent
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Physical Education in a school setting
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Physical Education pedagogy and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in Physical Education activities
