1. Develop and deliver engaging computer science lessons covering programming fundamentals, algorithms, and digital literacy.
2. Design and implement practical projects, lab activities, and hands-on workshops to enhance students’ technical skills.
3. Collaborate with the curriculum team to integrate computer science into broader academic programs.
4. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including assignments, exams, and project-based assessments.
5. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, software tools, and digital learning materials.
6. Guide students in understanding ethical issues in technology, cybersecurity basics, and responsible digital citizenship.
7. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities related to computer science.
8. Ensure compliance with school policies on digital safety, data protection, and classroom management.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly advantageous. Experience in teaching high school students or working with STEM programs is a plus.
